Provides instructional design and support for the Defense Information Schools’ online Social Media Managers Course. This course is required for all personnel assigned to manage social media accounts with DOD units and also open to all DoD employees who wish to improve their social media management skills.

Design and create a Social Media Managers Course as an interactive, self-paced online learning program.
The target audience for the course are DoD employees whose duties may include: selecting social media platforms for official use, crafting engagement strategies with the public using social media platforms; advising commanders on the effective use of digital engagement strategies; and applying analytics to plan Social Media campaigns and to analyze the efficacy of Social Media engagement. The course provides basic guidelines for the management of official Social Media Accounts based upon DoD and Service guidelines and regulations.
