Cost Quest is an award-winning, one-hour cinematic capstone experience developed for the Defense Acquisition University’s CON 12B Product Support O&S Cost Management credential. Recognized with a 2025 MarCom Platinum Award for excellence in digital media, the experience was designed for acquisition professionals responsible for long-term sustainment planning, transforming complex Operations & Support cost forecasting into a mission-driven, interactive simulation. The project involved developing a multi-world UI system, narrative-driven puzzle mechanics, cinematic animation sequences, and a hybrid AI-assisted production pipeline while maintaining full Section 508 accessibility compliance and HTML5/SCORM deployment standards. Production combined Unreal Engine, Blender, and generative AI tools to create an immersive, scalable learning environment grounded in real-world defense acquisition processes.
